Monocular Cue: Texture

The texture of an object can be perceived by our proximity to it. This is an example of depth perception because, as we get closer to an object, we see more texture to an object.

Example: From far away (left) the shirt appears to be a solid color. As we get closer (right), we can see that that the shirt has the texture of a sweater.
