Monocular Cue: Linear Perspective

Linear perspective is the illusion of parallel lines converging to a single point. When looking down parallel lines toward a horizon, the lines appear as if they are gradually becoming closer, eventually turning into one single line.

Example: Looking down railroad tracks, it appears as if the rails converge into one line; however, this is just an illusion.
